first day of dA

Thu Sep 28, 2006, 7:52 AM
Ta-da! I have joined deviantArt. Mostly this is so I can see the awesome stuff my friends, and other dA strangers, are posting behind closed links, but since I'm here I should probably share some of my own work.

I consider myself a "crafter", not an "artist", and a "reader/critic" more than a "writer". Nevertheless, I'm a creative jack-of-all-trades (certainly a master of none!), and dabble in all kinds of things depending on my mood. Most frequently I write folksongs based on myths and legends, knit lace, and doodle in pencil. We'll see what comes up here in time...

  • Mood: Optimism

heya, sorry it took me a while to friend you back... I don't check up on DA regularly. But welcome!

- "I'm sorry my lord!"
- "Only insofar as you enjoy being sorry my dear, which, while it is a considerable amount, occurs only after the fact, this making it a singularly ineffective deterrent, yes?"

Welcome to dA :) Now, post stuff!

If a ragnarok would burn all the slums and gas-works, and shabby garages, and long arc-lit suburbs, it could for me burn all the works of art - and I'd go back to trees.
